Welcome to my first OFFICIAL blog post here at Kristen Rue Photography!  Oh my goodness I can't believe I actually get to type that.  It's been a dream of mine for some time, and to see it here in living color is truly wonderful.  Soon all of your beautiful pictures will live here. So welcome to you, and please enjoy the ride. 

When Kimberly (I still call her Kimmy, can't help it) contacted me about shooting her engagement photos and December wedding, I was over the mooooon excited.  Not only because she's so gracious and so gorgeous, but also because I was her show choir (yes singing and dancing) teacher way back in the day.  But before that, I was a youth intern at the church where we both grew up.  We have history.  I love this kid.  And her Michael is everything kind and smart and funny.  It was so classic Nashville, with no undue pomp.  It was warm and sweet (her daddy married them.....I  can't) and sophisticated and urbane.  It was perfect.  How'd I get so lucky?  Here's a little glimpse into the happiest day of their lives, and what an honor that I was there to capture it.  Here's to you, Kimberly and Michael!
